Family engagement is key to a child's academic success. This program will describe beliefs and best practices regarding family engagement and examines strategies that parents can use to support a child's literacy development. Suggestions for planning a family event at your preschool will also be discussed.

This program is brought to us by Oakland Family Services and is appropriate for preschool teachers, parents and all who care for preschool age children.
