Jim Sims will give a talk titled "Understanding Autosomal DNA (atDNA) Inheritance". Understanding the mechanism of autosomal DNA inheritance will help you understand why interpreting the results of an autosomal DNA test at AncestryDNA, 23AndMe, Family Tree DNA and MyHeritage can be quite complicated. This talk also provides a rationale for why its important to DNA test your close family members if they are willing to test autosomal DNA.
