Technology is everywhere! Smart phones, tablets, computer games, apps and websites are all targeted at our young children. Learn about how to find balance between integrating technology, preparing young children to operate in the technological world and still ensuring developmentally appropriate practices with young children. This workshop will help participants identify what the research says about technology and young children, explore the use of technology in communicating with parents and in the classroom and enhancing your program, gain resources to help integrate technology that are developmentally appropriate, and become familiar with the standards and rules regarding media in the early childhood classroom.
