Learn & Grow: Toddler Storytime

EVERY CHILD READY TO READ: For children between 18-36 months at time of registration. This storytime is designed to help children with socialization, cognitive and large motor development. Each child must be accompanied by an adult. Please make other arrangements for siblings. This class will meet in our large Community Room to allow for social distancing.

Community Quilt Reception

Swing by the library between noon and 2pm today to see a Unity Quilt that our community has lovingly created. The Quilt will be hanging in the library for a bit before being moved to its permanent location, the new Highland Township offices. As a special treat our co-sponsors, the Huron Valley Council for the Arts will be providing a pizza lunch to everyone who shows up to see the quilt!

(This event, originally scheduled for Oct 1st was cancelled by the HVCA on 9/26. We are happy that they could reschedule)

Teen Craft - Kokeshi Doll!

Kokeshi are simple wooden Japanese dolls with no arms or legs that have been crafted for more than 150 years as a toy for children. Join us and make two unique Kokeshi. One for you and one for a friend!

Friends Used Book Sale

Come buy quality used books at very reasonable prices and support our Friends of the Library!

$.50 - $1.50 for paperbacks, $1.50 hardcovers, specialty items may be more.

Donations to the book sale are currently accepted on Tuesdays and Wednesdays only.

Books must be in a box or bag. Please leave donations on the cart by the front doors during open library hours - 10am - 8pm.
